My Camera

Well, I noticed that one or two people were searching the site for "camera". I figure perhaps they want to know what the camera is that I'm using for the photo's displayed here. First up, a better camera will not make you a better photographer. But I understand that there is a minimum point to start at, my previous digicam had no lcd display, which made it almost impossible to use.
Enough rambling. I use a Fuji Film S7000, the sucessor to the S602. This is a really cool camera, but it is perhaps a bit bulky for those who want just a small digicam to carry around with them. I shoot in RAW mode unless I need to use one of the multi-shot modes like last-5 for lightning or similar shots. I do all post-processing in the Gimp on Linux, converting the raw files with the great plugin, UFRaw. If there is any interest I might prattle on further about photography in general, but this should do for now.
