This flute has been played so much that the Silver Plate has worn off and tarnished in many places.
This flute has been played so much that the Silver Plate has worn off and tarnished in many places. Finishes on instruments (and things like strings as well) interact with the player's own body chemistry, and will have different results for different people. This is an extreme case, but shows the possibilities quite clearly. Submitted to JPG Magazine's Tools of the Trade Theme.
